Spring 2013 Jewelry Trends on the Rise

And you think the stores put holiday items out too early?  Spring 2013 jewelry trends are already being decided upon!  It looks like for Spring 2013, it's going to be Southwest inspired pieces, such as chunky silver settings, turquoise stones and "look-at-me" feathers.  

According to an article on Glamour.com, sisters Danielle and Jodi Snyder who were at the Dannijo presentation on September 6, the way to dress up your favorite jeans-and-white-T uniform will be oversized chokers, breastplate-style necklaces and stone encrusted cuffs.

In an article on Yahoo! News, SilverTribe's Spokesperson, Chris Anderson indicates that “Turquoise and silver pair extremely well together and are easy to match with casual wear and formal attire. It’s more common to see turquoise paired with other gemstones such as opal or coral, two of our favorites."

Native American Tribes, particularly Navajo and Zuni, are known for producing beautiful turquoise jewelry and multicolor selections. Those styles, as well as more contemporary designs are in high demand.

The verdict on the spring fashion season is that casual will rule the day. Native American jewelry will be all that’s needed to take the classic jeans and white tee shirt look to a whole new level.
